We created the below frequently asked questions list to help answer common questions that you may have about our boat rental service or process. Please checkout the faq before contacting us.

  • What if I need to cancel? Or if there is bad weather?

    For a FULL refund, you must cancel within 7 days of the scheduled departure date. (except for holidays. See holiday policy).


    Cancelations between 3-6 days of scheduled departure will be given a credit for another rental during the same season.


    Cancelations made within 72hrs of scheduled departure will NOT be given a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS!


    Cancelation due to inclement weather, at our discretion, will be given a full refund. Please note that a cloudy day or a drop in temperature does not constitute “bad” weather.


    A HOLIDAY WEEKEND or DAY (Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July day or weekend, Labor Day weekend) must be canceled at-least 14 days prior for a full refund. Cancelations within 7-13 days will be granted a credit for another rental during the same season. Any cancelation made within 6 days of the scheduled departure will NOT be given a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS!


    If Lake Travis is closed by the government and we do not have access you will be granted a refund.

  • Are there any parking or entrance fees? (CASH ONLY)

    Mansfield Dam Park Entrance Fees:


    **FEES ARE PAID WITH CASH ONLY!

    • Day Use - $5 per Person
    • Day Use for Seniors (62 years and older) - $3 per Person
    • Day Use for Children (12 years and younger) - No Charge
    • Trailer Parking Fee (No Charge to Seniors or Disabled Veterans) - $7 per Trailer per Day
    • Day Use for Disabled Veteran (50%+ disabled) - No Charge

    Boat loading instructions:

    Follow the signs to the boat launch area. Once you park, make your way down the stairs on the right side of the park (facing the water) to the dock. This is where you will board.

  • Can I bring food and drinks?

    Sure, you can bring food and drinks!


    BUT please do not bring any red wine, kids barrel juices with artificial colors, kid’s slime, illegal drugs, weapons, glass, Styrofoam products, pets.

  • Is there a bathroom?

    Sorry, we do not have a bathroom.

  • Do I need to bring my own life preservers?

    We have all sizes available at no extra cost EXCEPT for children under 2 years old. They will need to have a USCG-approved floatation device brought for them.

  • Can I bring my own music?

    Our boat is hooked up with Bluetooth capabilities and Kicker speakers!

  • Should I tip the Captain?

    Yes please! Our Captains typically receive at-least a 20% tip.
